Powering through the year, events 3 more events in 2026 completed
Powering through 2026 with another three successful events completed. From planning to delivery, our team continues to provide reliable support, professional service and smooth event operations every step of the way.
Caryford Community Hall
Our event on Saturday 21 st March tested 268 men, 33 of whom were advised to seek further medical help. Our thanks to Brue Valley Rotary Club for providing help with funding, stewarding and publicity. Also, our thanks go to Castle Cary Town Council and to Rotary District for providing grants for the tests.
Our regular team of phlebotomists did a brilliant job, taking the blood samples, always giving cheer and a smile to their patients, making them feel relaxed and positive.
Yeovil Football Club
If any of the 232 men booked for this event hoped a game of football would provide entertainment then, other than for a junior match, they were disappointed. Within days of the event on 18 th April, 210 men received a green notification that their PSA blood test was within normal limits.
Our thanks to Yeovil Lions who provided stewarding, publicity and funding for this event.
Masonic Hall, Frome
Our testing events are open to all men over 40 and we thank Frome Lions for funding this one on 16 th May. Frome Lions also provided many willing helpers, stewarding on the day and publicising the event. 299 men were tested but a breakdown of the figures is not available yet.
We had a visit from Frome Lions dear little ‘Leo the Lion’ mascot, who raised a smile or two and offered moral support.
